DE Isaacson, founder and Executive Director of the Zion Clarity Project

DE Isaacson is the founder and Executive Director of the Zion Clarity Project. He holds degrees in international relations and international business, and has spent years living and working across the Middle East, including extended periods in both Israel and Arab societies. His career spans international consulting, finance, editorial work, field research, and university-level academic instruction. He has extensive experience directing international nonprofit initiatives.

Isaacson's regional expertise is rooted in direct engagement with Middle Eastern languages, societies, and primary source materials. This linguistic and cultural immersion has given him insight into the internal narratives, media, and political discourse surrounding Israel and the Jewish people, providing crucial context on the roots of modern anti-Zionism that analysts working mainly through Western-language sources often miss.

His broader professional background includes editorial collaboration with researchers across Asia, Europe, and the Americas; interviews with global public figures and leaders; and field research and documentary work in conflict-affected regions, including Sub-Saharan Africa. He brings to the Zion Clarity Project a wide-ranging knowledge of Jewish history, Zionism, and the roots of antisemitism, with particular attention to their historical, psychological, civilizational, and ideological dimensions.

The Zion Clarity Project was born out of a conviction shaped by personal experience. Having come of age in an era when antisemitism seemed largely confined to the margins of respectable public life, Isaacson watched its aggressive resurgence across the Americas and Europe with growing concern. He recognized that much of the public discourse surrounding antisemitism and anti-Zionism was being conducted without historical depth, linguistic access, or civilizational context. Drawing on decades of cross-cultural experience, research, and organizational leadership, he created the Zion Clarity Project to restore clarity, seriousness, and historical memory to a public conversation increasingly shaped by distortion, ignorance, and ideological evasion.
